This was a comprehensive master bathroom remodel in Plano, TX. The original space was less than half the size of the remodel. A complete demo of the space was done to the studs; a wall was moved over 3 feet, and then both the HVAC and hot water heater were replaced and moved up to the attic to make the room large enough to hold a shower, tub, double vanity, and water closet. All new plumbing was run throughout the bathroom, along with electrical which included four can lights, two sconces, and a chandelier with a dimmer to control the light levels in the room.
The shower is spacious and easily walked into, with a newly installed rain shower head and body sprayer. A large soaking tub was the final touch with a freestanding faucet to quickly fill it with water.
The owner wanted colorful large-format tiles on the walls, and more classic hex tiles for the floor. The result is a unique, inviting space to relax and bathe.
